Hi everyone
Today I will
talk about this amazing country located in middle Europe. Czech Republic has a
lot of history and wonderful places to visit. The capital, and also the biggest
city is Prague (or Praha in it's native languaje). The old town or Staré
Město is placed in the south board of the Moldava River with a lot of stones
brigdes forn ancients years. Maybe the most spectacular atraccion is the Staroměstský orloj, or the "astronomical clock" ln
the main square of the old town. It was built in the XV century and located in
one of the walls of the local goberment bulding.
You can see this amazing clock Here.

But Czech
Republic is not only Prague. You can also visit some cities like Brno, Karlovy
Vary or
Liberec. This last one is located near to the border line with
Poland and Germany and have a very well preserved old bohemian
town, built when the Austria-Hungary Empire was the owner of all this places.
In the mountains near Liberec you can find the TV-Tower of Jested, a symbol of
the communist past in "Československo" and where you
can enjoy the view of Schlesien (South of Poland) and the Oberlaustiz in
Sachsen, Germany.

| This train connect Germany and Czech Republic every two hours. |
How can you
go to this places?. Well, the easier way is by train from Germany or Austria.
For example, every two hours you can take an Intecity-train from Dresden
Hbf (Dresden-Main Station in German) to Praha hlavní nádraží in a almost two
hours trip. If you are in Berlin the travel takes three hours. Even you can go
for one day if you love travelling by train. Another option is from Vienna: a
train trip takes almost four hours in "Railjet" a very luxury
and confortable service operated by the Austrian Federal Railways. If you're
not convinced, always you can find a bus jajaja.
Important
facts! This country is part of the European Union, so you don't have to make
border control, but always there's a chance to be asked to show your passpport
on the train once you have crossed the border line. They don't use Euro, so you
have to change money to Czech crowns. 1 Euro is close to 26 crowns. With 200
crowns you can have a lunch.
You can see,
I have almost all that I need t know to go, and that's why I want to go there.
One of my dreams is make the trip between Dresden and Prague following the
rivers Elba and Moldova. I love countries with a lot of history and old places to see and enjoy If you have the chance to visit this country tell me
about your experience!
Best Regards
C.
