Best concert ever: David Gilmour

Let’s talk today about concerts. First, I must tell that I love music, especially progressive rock, pop, or even classical music. I love to hear music in English, German and, of course, in Spanish. In that way, my favourite band is Pink Floyd, a British band of progressive rocks with a lot of masterpieces in the history of music. Unfortunately, they are no longer together since 1994, but two of them, Roger Waters and David Gilmour, still singing and releasing solo-projects.

Is in that context that in December 2015, David Gilmour came to Chile in the “Rattle that lock” tour. It was his first time in the country and maybe it could be the only one. So, I had to have the chance to enjoy an evening listening one of the monsters of music on live. The date was on December 20, 2015, the place: Estadio Nacional. The sale tickets began in September, and in only few days went sold out. That was frustrating for me because I couldn’t get the money to get the ticket and I thought I lose the chance to be there. I was so close and then I couldn’t realize my dream to be there.

Anyway, the miracles exist. In November the production firm of the concert released new tickets for the concert with a price I could paid for, and I didn’t think twice. I bought a ticket and also invited my dad to come with me. The dream comes true.

That day the gates opened at 4 pm, and the concert started at 9 pm. I remember standing there under the shining afternoon sun, and then music started to sound. I enjoyed hits of the solo-career of Gilmour like Rattle that lock or On an Island, and classics of the Pink Floyd era like Sorrow or Time.

Definitely it was the best concert ever.

When someone says you have a free topic to talk about in a blog post, It's so hard to me to define what I could choose to talk about. Hello Today I want to talk about a special topic related to my career of Public Administration. I’ll talk about the problem of drought and water laws in the country. Is been asked to explain some changes that must be necessary to apply and find a solution of the problem of water. Let’s start by the history. Water as a fluid has been always considered as a resource, which could be exploited as the same way as cooper or steal. That means, a private could ask for the government to buy the right of use a certain amount of water and be able to take from rivers o water wells. In that way, the laws and regulations are only made to regulate how a person or an industry can use the water.
